A selection of curries with accompaniments for just £6 pp. No need to book but when it’s gone, it’s gone! Ice cream will also be available at just £1. The times have been altered slightly to allow those who wish to watch the England World cup Fixture against Panama to do so and still be able to have a curry afterwards. Ideal!
If you know anyone interested in coming along to have a go on the water (there will be sailing members on the beach to give help and advice from 11.00 ish) and then coming up to the club for lunch (the bar will be open) please let them know.
Want to join in but don't feel confident enough to step straight out into a sailboat? Come along anyway and we'll take you under our wing. Or get in touch with Hugh, please email him on email@example.com
The Next Date is Saturday, June the 23rd. 4:30 start as usual. Bring your friends and floating devices to start the fun. Top it all off with a bit to eat and drink at the club. For further information, get in touch with Alan and Nichola Burley on 07801 983152 Any excuse to get afloat!
3 boats took to the water on Sunday the 17th for a cracking sail in 15-18 knots of southwesterly breeze and some good waves. If there is one breeze which captures the imagination at Beer, that is it. Sheltered launching, 300yds away from sleigh ride fun on rolling seas. The conditions were absolutely perfect! This Thursday, 3 lasers and a contender have taken to the water looking to master a tricky northerly. All good fun.
