Sailing, the last 2 weeks The weather has been too windy for the last two Sundays.
Sailing on Boxing Day, last chance this year The weather is predicted to change around to the North West on Boxing Day although it is a brief window in the blustery south westerly air stream.
N.B. There will only be club racing if we have enough committed sailors so please contact me if you want to sail on Boxing Day.
We have Adrian M in the Race Hut and Alan B on White Eagle. We also need a volunteer crew to accompany Alan B on the the patrol boat.
Offers to help us ashore by manning the winches around 12.45pm - 1.00pm would be very much appreciated. If I don't get enough definite starters by Christmas Eve I will cancel the sailing.
There won't be any mulled wine on offer this year but: The bar will be open from 12pm for a few social beers whether there is sailing on or not.
Join us in the Clubhouse to share an après sail lunch around 1.30pm, either our favourite soup or bacon butties .
