Phil Morrison, the yacht and dinghy designer, will be giving a talk at Sidmouth Sailing Club on Wednesday 1st February about his fascinating involvement with sailing over the last half century.
Phil has been responsible for many groundbreaking designs in classes such as International 14s, Merlin Rockets and National 12s, as well as several one-designs in the RS range and an updated design for the Wayfarer (which is built at The Boatyard at Beer).
His son, Stevie, represented GBR in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics in the 49er class.
