If you know anyone interested in coming along to have a go on the water (there will be sailing members on the beach to give help and advice from 11.00 ish) and then coming up to the club for lunch (the bar will be open) please let them know.
Want to join in but don't feel confident enough to step straight out into a sailboat? Come along anyway and we'll take you under our wing. Or get in touch with Hugh, please email him on email@example.com
Splash Saturdays got off to a good start last week. There was kayaking, paddleboarding and some sailing in a Pico. The highlight was Stewart and Sue getting into a mirror for their first sail together, the perfect introduction to sailing.
The Next Date is Saturday, June the 23rd. 4:30 start as usual. Bring your friends and floating devices to start the fun. Top it all off with a bit to eat and drink at the club. For further information, get in touch with Alan and Nichola Burley on 07801 983152 Any excuse to get afloat!
OPEN SAILING EVENT
Beer Sailing Club is hosting the RS800 and Scorpion dinghy classes on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of July. This is a great opportunity to show off the club and it's friendly, welcoming atmosphere. If you would like to get involved, either on the water with the race team, onshore in the clubhouse or on the beach, please get in touch. Angie firstname.lastname@example.org for social events or Sarah for anything else. It really is a case of the more the merrier! The club will be open throughout the weekend with supper available on Saturday night.
We've had 2 absolutely cracking Monday nights at the Sailing Club so far this season. This is just a reminder that the Club and Bar will both be open throughout the summer months every Monday from 6.00pm
The Thursday night series is well and truly underway. It looks like a great forecast for tonight with a puffy light to moderate northwesterly offering plenty of snakes and ladders. Food and drink afterwards at the club!
