Vets and Ladies Winners
Congratulations to Henry Jaggers, winner of the coveted Masters Trophy 2013 and Jean Davies, winner of the Bucknall Bowl, Ladies Cup 2013

Beer Dinghy Regatta Saturday 17th August 2013
This glorious weather has seen a marked increase in water sport participation. Keep it up and make sure you have the Dinghy Regatta etched in your diary. We want a really big turnout to do the Regatta proud. Remember all proceeds from the entry fees go to the Regatta Fund

Rowing Boat Owners - Alert - Please ensure that the keel on your rowing boat does not have any protruding screws or nails. And as an extra precaution don't pull your rowing boat across the decking unless you are very sure that you're not going to make gouges across the grain of the timber.
Rowing Boat Owners - Beware - If you have a boat on the beach which doesn't have an up to date BSC or EDDC sticker on the outside of the transom then the Council are on your case and will impound your boat - You have until the end of the month. You have been warned.

Beer Sailing School
Volunteers to help Alan and Tony with boat winching, derigging and packing away would be very much appreciated.
Please get in touch with Alan to volunteer your services.

If you know someone who would like to join or you need to pay for your Rowing Boat or Sailing Dinghy you can download the Membership Form as a  PDF Here or as a Word Document Here

Winch Volunteers
There's no better sight for for the patrol boat crew than to see some willing volunteers waiting to help 'White Eagle' safely back to it's berth on the beach
Sailing Club Winches
The Sailing Club winches are there to make life easier for everyone to go sailing. If you need some advice or guidance on how to use them safely please get in touch. We are available to help.

The Scorpion National Championships at Sidmouth, Sunday 18th - Friday 23rd August
We are helping Sidmouth Sailing Club out for this prestigious event by providing our rib for the week as a patrol boat. We need to man it for all 6 days so if anyone is interested in seeing the Scorpions in action on the water, please get in touch

Wednesday Morning Coffee Club in the Clubhouse
So much better than 'Costa' and the view is magnificent - catch up for a 'social' coffee with other club members

Cheers and Beers
